A slow growing compact evergreen shrub with shiny holly like leaves marbled with cream, tinged pink in the spring. Happy in sun or partial shade and easy to grow. It hold its variegation in the shade making it a good choice to brighten up a shady corner and an excellent foil for other evergreen shrubs. It forms a superb impenetrable informal hedge and it thrives in containers. Once mature it produces small but incredibly scented white flowers during the summer and autumn.
